Sandra L. Hollway, LPC, R-DMT, LBS, PhD (Genetics), is a
Licensed Professional Counselor, a BECK center certified-CBT-competent therapist, and a Registered Dance Movement Therapist. She received her MA (2006) in Dance Movement Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University, and has been practicing as a therapist with adults and children, for the last 15 years.
Sandra gained her early experiences as a dance movement therapist working at the Center for Autism with preschool children, and at the Kardon Institute where she worked with children in the Lower Merion, Philadelphia and Camden school districts (K-12). She then worked for several years as a Licensed Behavior Specialist, with Adults on the Autism spectrum. Sandra most recently worked with children, adolescents and adults requiring a higher level of care, as a movement and CBT therapist inpatient at Belmont Behavioral health, and also at a partial hospital program for elementary age children (Stepping Stones). Sandra currently works at Communiverse, and also has a private practice in Bala Cynwyd.
Prior to becoming a full time therapist, Sandra received a PhD in biology from Johns Hopkins University, and has taught Biopsychology classes at local colleges in the Philadelphia area. Sandra lives with her husband, two dogs, a hamster and a fish! Her two daughters are currently in College.
