Megan Swavely is a board certified Speech Language Pathologist that has been working with adults for 12 years. She graduated in 2008 and 2010 from Bloomsburg University with a Bacheolor’s and Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology with a minor in Exceptional Individuals. Settings include skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, subacute rehabilitation, adult day centers, residential settings and telehealth therapy. She is Lee Silverman Voice Therapy certified and primarily works to improve the lives of individuals living with Dysphagia, Aphasia, Apraxia, Dysarthria, Dysphonia, and various cognitive-communication disorders. Disorders include Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mental Retardation. She is a mother to two young boys, Koa and Luca. She loves to garden, trail run and refinish furniture. Megan is incredibly passionate about her career and finds creative ways for her clients to be successful.
