Laura Evak is a Speech-Language Pathologist, who currently works with Communiverse ® Therapy Solutions and in Early Intervention. Laura graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Communication Disorders in May 2000 and earned her M.A. from Temple University in May 2002 in Communication Sciences. During her career, Laura has worked with people across the lifespan in many settings, including private practice, hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals and schools. She was honored to work with graduate students, as a clinical educator, with Salus University from 2019 to 2021. Laura is licensed in the state Pennsylvania and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech Language Hearing Association. She prides herself on providing high quality therapy to each of her clients and their families. Laura has a special interest in social communication and executive functions. She has spoken at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Institute’s Center for Autism Research’s Transition Into Adulthood Workshops and to local support groups on topics including social communication and executive functioning. When she is not working, Laura enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband. You can find her most spring and summer weekends traveling with her children to lacrosse tournaments on the East Coast.
